Similar to broccoli, only with much longer stems and smaller florets. Is a sister of bimi, the Japanese vegetable. The taste of kailan also resembles broccoli, but a bit sweeter and crunchier. Can be used in pieces, slices or whole. Ideal for stir-frying with garlic and soy sauce.
